Chrysler Happy To Help

Chrysler employees are donating over $1-million to the United Way this year.

The donation goes a long way in helping the 47,000 Windsor-Essex residents who use services funded by the United Way.

Windsor Assembly Plant Manager Michael Brieda says, "when I heard that (statistic) today, I was personally surprised at how many people need that much contribution. The need is so great, and the plant was able to contribute so much, it was very heart felt."

The United Way recently hit the halfway mark in its campaign to reach $5.2-million by March.
