Police say a 29-year-old male was transported to hospital with injuries to his hand.
The incident happened at around 11:15pm Saturday, inside an apartment building in the 400-block of Glengarry Ave.
The knife has not been recovered and police say they do not know the identity of the suspects.
A Canada Wide Warrant has now been issued for the arrest of Kyaw "Chin" Doe.
Police were called to a residence in the Notre Dame Place and Lakeshore Road area at 12:40 p.m. on April 14.
