Suspect Wanted In Robbery Attempt

The Windsor Police Service hopes releasing the description of a suspect wanted after an attempted robbery in south Windsor will jog someone's memory.

A man told officers he was walking through a parking lot in the 1300-block of Grand Marais Rd. W around 10pm Thursday night when a man approached him and demanded his wallet. There was a scuffle, and the victim suffered minor injuries. The suspect left in an older black Chevy Cavalier.

The suspect is described as:

- a black man between 30 and 35 years old

- a medium build and short dark hair

- was wearing a blue jacket and blue running shoes.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
