UPDATE: Suspected Arson On Wyandotte

A Monday night fire at 892 Wyandotte St. E in Windsor is being called an arson by police.

Windsor fire crews and police were called to the scene around 9:40pm on Monday. The building has a bar on the main level and apartment units above. A backpack filled with camping propane tanks was lit on fire and thrown into a communal bathroom in the upper level.

The fire created minimal damage and no one was injured.

Police don't have any suspects at this point in the investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
