Description Of Alleged Attempted Purse Snatcher

Police officers in Windsor are looking for a suspect after an attempted robbery near Shepherd St. E and Dufferin Pl.

A woman told police she was walking near Ellis St. E and Dufferin when a man grabbed her purse. She tightened her grip, and the suspect then stopped and apologized. He told her he thought she was someone else.

The suspect is described as:

- a white man, around 55-years-old

- a thin build and wavy brown hair

- wearing jeans and a light t-shirt.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
