Man Robbed On Ouellette Avenue

Windsor police are searching for a brazen suspect who robbed a 50-year-old man on a downtown sidewalk in broad daylight.

On Friday, across from the library in the 800-block of Ouellette Ave., police say the victim was approached by a man who struck him to the ground.

Police say the suspect continued to assault the man while laying helplessly on the sidewalk. The victim suffered minor injuries.

The suspect made off with his wallet, which was then found in a nearby parking lot with $35 missing.

Police are searching for an Arabic man between the ages of 25-30 with short dark hair, 150 lbs with a medium build. He was also last seen wearing large brown sunglasses.
