UPDATE: Suspects Saw Themselves Online

Social media buzz helps Windsor police nab two suspected motorcycle thieves.

Surveillance video of two young men stealing a motorbike from Myers Towing on Marentette Ave. was circulated on Friday.

Several hours later, a 19-year-old came into Windsor police headquarters with his step-father, saying he was wanted in relation to the incident.

The second suspect, a 20-year-old, turned himself in on Tuesday with his parents at his side.

Both say they'd seen pictures and video of themselves on social media.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
