Police Look For Polite Armed Robber

Windsor police are looking for a suspect who remembered his manners, if not that robbery is illegal.

The robbery was just after 8pm Thursday on Partington Ave. north of Wyandotte St. W in Windsor.

A 20-year-old woman, accompanied by her mother, was placing a bag in the back seat of her vehicle when she heard a male voice behind her say "Excuse me. Give me your wallet."

When she turned around, a man was standing there with a black firearm pointed at her waist. When he pointed to the ground between them, she handed over a small amount of cash and the suspect fled towards an alley behind a commercial building on Wyandotte. Her mother pressed the car's alarm.

Police are looking for a man wearing a hood and a blue scarf covering his face. In addition to the gun, he also carried a red gym bag.

Anyone with information should call Windsor Police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305 or Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS). Tips can also be submitted on Facebook and at www.catchcrooks.com.
