UPDATE: Pedestrians Struck By Vehicle

Two pedestrians have been taken to hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Windsor.

The Windsor Police Service says on Saturday just before 8pm, a man and a woman were struck at Wyandotte St. E and Chilver Rd.

Both were taken to hospital where the woman was treated and released. The man sustained serious injuries and had to under go surgery. As of Sunday morning police say the man remains in serious condition.

Police closed the intersection during their investigation. It has since reopened.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
