Theft Suspect Arrested, Medal Found

Windsor police are searching for the owner of a U.S. marine medallion after a break-and-enter suspect was arrested.

On December 17, Windsor police say a man stole items from an apartment building in the 500-block of Riverside Dr. W. One of the items taken is believed to have been a United States Marine Corps medal that was recovered in the suspect's possession.

He was arrested Monday without incident in the 3200-block of Dougall Ave. The 31-year-old has been charged with break and enter, possession of theft tools and two counts of mail theft.

If the owner can identify the unique features on the back of the medal, they're asked to call police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4350 to claim the item.
