New Life For Tecumseh Mall

The general manager of Tecumseh Mall in Windsor is thrilled to have a new major tenant in HGS Canada.

Deborah McVeety admits it's been hard since Zeller's closed a few years ago, and Sobey's announced last year it too was closing up shop at the mall.

McVeety believes other amenities in the shopping centre helped seal the deal. "We have the food court and we have the restaurants here and the shopping, all of the things that their employees will need."

HGS Canada is locating its 12th Canadian call centre in the former Zeller's and plans to employ 600 workers by this fall. The company is investing $4-million in renovations at its new location.
