One Person Injured In Apartment Fire

Firefighters have responded to a small apartment blaze at 30 Tuscarora St. in Windsor.

The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service says the fire broke out on Sunday and was contained to the ninth floor.

One person sustained non-life threatening burns to the upper body.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but damage is estimated at around $1,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
