Flu Outbreak Over At Hotel-Dieu

Officials at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare are giving the all clear.

After declaring an influenza outbreak on three wards back on January 7, a release from the hospital says the outbreak is over.

During the outbreak, a number of restrictions were placed on visitors including no visitors under the age of 14, and a limit on how many visitors patients could see. Visitors were also required to wear facemasks.

Visitors are still asked not to come to the hospital if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms including sudden onset of fever and chills, headache, muscle pains, a sore throat, loss of appetite, nausea, and cough.
