Snow Causes Havoc On Roads

Snowfall across the region is blamed for several crashes, including a serious collision on county road 42.

OPP say a car lost control just east of Manning Rd. and collided with a tree. Two women, including a 37-year-old from Chatham, were rushed to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Elsewhere, LaSalle Police say a school bus collided with a mini-van this morning on Front Rd. 20 kids were on the bus at the time, with one reporting a sore arm. The minivan driver is charged with careless driving.

Windsor Police have also responded to several crashes on the EC Row, Jefferson Blvd, Tecumseh Rd, and Lauzon Parkway.

Environment Canada predicts 4cm of snow to fall through the day.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
