Looking For Robbery Witnesses

Police in Windsor hope someone will come forward and shed light on a robbery that happened in broad daylight.

A 33-year-old woman was walking along Tuscarora St. between Louis Ave. and Marentette Ave. just before 3:30pm Wednesday, when she heard someone running up behind her. When she turned to look, she was knocked to the ground by a man who took her purse.

The suspect is described as:

- a 20-year-old man with a clean-shaven, olive complexion

- about 5'10" with a skinny build

- wearing a grey winter toque and a grey waist-length jacket.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
