Clean up is underway after an insulation company’s transport truck burst into flames in Tecumseh.
The Tecumseh Ontario Provincial Police say on Thursday around 5:45pm, the truck was parked in parking lot in the 14000-block of Tecumseh Rd., when the two occupants heard and explosion from the back of the vehicle.
Tecumseh firefighters attended the scene and quickly extinguished the fire, but damage is estimated at around $30,000.
Both occupants were able to jump out of the truck without sustaining an injury.
The public is asked to avoid the area while a clean up crew is at the scene. Police say the area will have restricted access until around 9pm.
