Spits Down Sting In OT

The Windsor Spitfires beat the Sarnia Sting 3-2 in overtime on Saturday.

During the game, the Spits were able to take a 2-0 lead at the beginning of the second period. However, the Sting came back scoring once in the second and once in the third to force OT. Spitfires centre Logan Brown scored the game winning goal in extra time.

Jamie Lewis and Cristiano DiGiacinto each scored one goal for Windsor.

The Spits and the Sting face off again on Sunday at 7pm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
