Spits Take On Sting In Windsor

After a shootout win last night against the Sarnia Sting, the Windsor Spitfires are looking for a repeat performance.

The Spits will take on the Sting again tonight at he WFCU Centre.

Spitfires centre Anthony Stefano says his team looks at the two games as a chance to move up in the standings.

"We've got to stay within our systems. This is a huge weekend and a team we're looking to catch," he says. "The four points this weekend... it's massive. Our goal is to make the playoffs and this weekend is a big step in the right direction."

The puck drops between the Spits and the Sting at 7pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
