Police Search Turns Up Handgun

A 30-year-old Windsor man faces charges after police found a loaded handgun in his pants.

Officers on patrol got a tip around 1:30am Sunday about a man possibly with a handgun tucked into his front waistband.

They arrested a suspect in the 400-block of Ouellette Ave.

Police seized a loaded Smith and Wesson handgun.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
