Downtown Campus Plans Moving Along

The City of Windsor is now waiting on site plans for the Windsor Armouries and former Tunnel Bar-B-Q building.

Proper zoning changes have now been made to the properties.

Craig Goodman with CS&P Architects explains a few of the plans in place so far, including the armouries being transformed into large music and art spaces. "On the TBQ side, it's really two buildings connected by a courtyard. The north end will be more to do with media arts, black-box studio spaces and film studios. The south end will be more of the practical fabrication arts," says Goodman.

Official site plans are expected this spring.
