A meeting in Kingsville tonight should give residents some clarity on the proposed new mega-hospital proposed for Windsor-Essex.
Mayor Nelson Santos expects one of the big questions of the night will be what a new single-site acute care hospital means for the hospital in Leamington.
"Any discussion regrarding the build of a new hospital always has the lingering thoughts, 'well what does that mean for existing hospitals?'" Says Santos. "Specifically for us in Leamington, that hospital is certainly a regional hospital that provides a level of service that we want to maintain and sustain."
The meeting is scheduled for 7pm at Migration Hall.
