Theft Victim Punches Suspects' Window

Windsor police are looking for a Dodge Charger with a broken window and two suspects after a theft in a parking lot on Central Ave.

Two men were leaving their gym around 3pm Tuesday when they noticed a man in their vehicle. When he got out, he jumped into a Dodge Charger parked next to it, but before the driver could make a getaway, one of the victims punched out the driver's side window. The Dodge sped off, and the victim suffered cuts on his arm and back.

Police say the first suspect had a slim build, possibly a shaved head and was wearing a grey sweatshirt. The driver of the Dodge was a white man with a beard or facial stubble, appeared to be in his 30s with a thick build and was wearing a cream-coloured winter jacket. The car was a white newer Dodge Charger with a thick black racing stripe down the hood, dark tinted windows and a spoiler on the truck.

The suspects got away with several items from the victim's car including a gym bag and an iPhone.

Anyone with information can call Windsor police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4350 or Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS). Tips can also be submitted on Facebook or at www.catchcrooks.com.
