IceDogs Outplay Spitfires

Despite an early lead, the Windsor Spitfires fell 3-1 to the Niagara IceDogs Sunday afternoon.

The Spits were able to take a 1-0 lead going into the second period, by the IceDogs scored two of their own  before the third. Niagara scored one more in the final two minutes to seal their victory.

Trevor Murphy scored Windsor's only goal.

The Spitfires' next game is on Monday at 2pm against the Guelph Storm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
