Crews were called around 6:30am to a blaze in the basement of a home in the 700-block of Windsor Ave.
It comes after crews spent most of the night battling hot spots in a house fire in the 500-block of Elliot St. E.
Flames were spotted there around 1am, and crews were still battling flare ups in the attic three hours later.
No word of any injuries in either blaze.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
