UPDATE: Manning Road Reopens After Crash

The OPP has reopened Manning Rd. just north of Hwy. 401 after a crash that sent three people to hospital.

Crews responded to the collision at around 5:30 on Manning Rd. and Baseline Rd.

OPP says a transport truck slammed into the back of a northbound van and car after they slowed down on Manning Rd.

Tecumseh fire says two people had to be extricated.

One female driver has been transported to hospital with serious injuries while a driver and a passenger from another vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police say charges are pending and the names of those involved won't be released at this time.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
