Emergency Crews Hold Large Exercise

City officials are urging the public not to panic as upwards of 100 emergency response personnel will be performing a training exercise this week.

The training runs Tuesday morning until Thursday afternoon at the old GM Transmission Plant in Windsor.

The mock emergency involves the OPP, the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office, the provincial Heavy Urban Search and Rescue Unit as well as Windsor fire and EMS crews.

Residents shouldn't be alarmed as the entire exercise is taking place on the property of the former GM plant.
