UPDATE: Fire On Parent Ave

A Saturday morning house fire in Windsor has caused $100,000 in damages.

The fire occurred at 1711 Parent Ave. between Hannah St. E and Tecumseh St. E.

The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service says the blaze started at the rear porch of the home. All five occupants of the house were able to get out safely, with one suffering a minor hand injury.

The cause has not yet been determined.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
