Sting Double Spitfires

The Windsor Spitfires fell 4-2 to the Sarnia Sting in OHL action on Sunday.

After a scoreless first period, the Spitfires trailed the Sting 2-1 at the end of the second. Windsor was able to tie things up in the third, but lost the game after Sarnia scored two goals of their own.

Slater Doggett and Hayden McCool each scored once for Windsor.

The Spits will take on the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Thursday at 7:05pm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
