Guns And Drugs Seized

Members of the Windsor Police Drug and Gun Unit have seized five guns and drugs in two separate search warrants.

Officers, assisted by the Emergency Services Unit, searched an apartment in the 100-block of Ellis St. E Tuesday where they found three long guns and two pellet pistols. They also seized some ammunition and a small amount of crystal methamphetamine.

A 42-year-old man and a 32-year-old man face weapons and drug-related charges.

The same day, police arrested a 39-year-old woman after searching a home in the 2200-block of Marentette Ave.

They found over 301g of marijuana, 4.6g of cocaine, six oxycodone pills, drug paraphernalia and $600.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
