Two Fires In Leamington

Damage was minimal from a kitchen fire at a Hwy. 77 home in Leamington.

Fire officials say a malfunctioning dishwasher caused $2,500 damage.

Officials are also updating yesterday's house fire on Marlborough St. W.

Damage is pegged at $140,000 and careless cooking is blamed. One man suffered minor burns from the blaze.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
