Gas Leak Causes Home Evacuation

Windsor Fire & Rescue Services says everything's back to normal after a gas leak on Homedale Blvd., between Wyandotte St. and Ontario St.

About seven homes were evacuated and that block was closed to traffic just after 10am.

A resident on Homedale Blvd. called the fire department after smelling gas coming from a neighbouring house.

No one was injured in the incident.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
