Man Arrested For Electrician Fraud

A Windsor man has been arrested for allegedly working as a certified electrician without the proper credentials.

Four people complained about the 42-year-old man posing on Kijiji as a legitimate electrician. One of the complaints dates back to April 2013.

Windsor police say the person who filed a report found very little work was ever complete.

Working with the Electrical Safety Authority, the fraud unit charged the man with three counts of fraud under $5,000 and one count of fraud over $5,000.
