The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service says on Friday around 9pm, firefighters were called to the blaze in the 1200-block of Stanley St.
Fire officials say the fire started on a stove top and was confined to the kitchen. Damage is estimated at around $35,000 and there were no injuries.
The family of the home is currently being assisted by the red cross.
