Otters Shoot Down Spitfires

The Windsor Spitfires suffered a tough 4-1 loss to the Erie Otters Saturday night.

After neither team scored in the first period, the Otters took a 1-0 lead in the second. Windsor was able to score once in the third, but Erie ensured their win with three more goals before the end of the frame.

Slater Doggett scored Windsor's only goal.

The Spits will face off against the Niagara IceDogs on Sunday at 2pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
