Photo Of Robbery Suspect Released

The Windsor Police Service hopes releasing a photo of a robbery suspect will lead to an arrest.

Officers arrived at the Shoppers Drug Mart in the 7700-block of Tecumseh Rd. E around 9pm Sunday after a man with a small silver gun approached a pharmacist and demanded narcotics. He left the store with a small amount of medication in a smaller dark-coloured pickup truck.

Police say the suspect is a white man in his 20s with a small build. He's about 5'6" and was wearing a green hooded sweater with a red zipper, blue jeans, a grey and tan knitted hat and red gloves.

Anyone with information can call Windsor police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305 or Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS). Information can be submitted on Facebook and at www.catchcrooks.com.
