Charges After Stanley St. Stabbing

A 29-year-old Windsor man faces a charge of assault causing bodily harm after a stabbing in the 600-block of Stanley St.

Windsor police officers arrived at a home in the 600-block at 2:15pm Thursday after an argument between two men became physical.

Police say a man went to the house and got into a verbal altercation which escalated and the victim was stabbed in the stomach.

Officers arrested a suspect a short distance away.

The suspect also suffered minor injuries, and both men received treatment for their injuries at the hospital.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
