Open House Exciting Students

The University of Windsor's leaving a positive impression on hundreds of potential students and their parents.

The school hosted its annual spring open house Friday, between 10am and 4pm.

Prospective student Sam Cipkar says, "It looks very interesting and inspiring. It makes me want to come here even more."

Cheyenne Jansseune, who's already accepted her offer from UWindsor, says, "The staff's very friendly. It's a nice environment."

The open house included an information fair, more than 50 program presentations, as well as tours of the campus, residence, athletics, the EPICentre, and classrooms.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
