UPDATE: Homeowner Displaced After Fire

One person is displaced following a house fire in Windsor.

Firefighters were called to 1768 Hickory Rd. just after 11:30am and were able to get the blaze under control quickly.

The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service says the fire started in an upstairs bedroom and caused $60,000 in damages.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
