Spits Fall In Final Game

The Spitfires suffered a 12-1 blowout to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in Windsor's final regular season game after being eliminated from playoff contention.

On Saturday, the Spitfires trailed the Greyhounds 4-1 at the end of the first and fell even further behind in the second with Sault Ste. Marie scoring five more. The Greyhounds netted three more goals in the final frame to end Windsor's season with a rough loss.

Slater Doggett scored Windsor's only goal.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
