Antique Propeller Stolen

Essex County OPP is trying to track down a propeller thief.

A very distinct antique brass propeller, valued at $5,000, was stolen from underneath the sign of a government building in Leamington back on March 16.

Police say an old-looking two-tone pick-up truck was caught on surveillance, ripping the propeller from the concrete, using a chain.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Essex County OPP Street Crimes Unit at 519-326-2544. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
