Developer Requests Fast Track

Leamington Council will be asked to fast track a new apartment building, set to be built on Seacliff Dr.

The lot near Cherry Lane is zoned commercial, but owners Piroli Construction want to build a 6-storey apartment and condo building there, and fast.

The company has told town staff they must begin construction next month or the project may never go forward. Problem is, the zoning isn't right, there's no site plan, and necessary studies still haven't been completed.

The owners of the company will ask council tonight to bypass public meetings, and give them early approval.
