YMCA Negotiating A New Location

Officials with the YMCA are negotiating a multi-million dollar partnership with a private business, which will lead to a new location in Windsor.

YMCA Western Ontario CEO Shaun Elliott says the deal hasn't been finalized, so he doesn't want to release the details.

The association has already won a $150,000 Ontario Trillium Foundation grant, which would go toward the project. "We're almost to the final business arrangements. The grant will help towards it, but by no means will it cover the whole cost."

Elliott says it will include a new pool. He hopes to have the deal complete some time this spring.
