7-Eleven Robbed At Knifepoint

Police are looking for a suspect after a Windsor convenience store was robbed by a man wielding a kitchen knife.

The Windsor Police Service says on Saturday around 3am, the man held up the 7-Eleven convenience store located 925 Ottawa St.  The man stole an unknown quantity of cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'10" tall, between the ages of 25-30 and weighing 165 lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey and black jacket, and a black scarf that was covering his face.

Officers are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the store.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
