Parkway Construction Closing Cabana Soon

Cabana Rd. in Windsor will be closing from Huron Church Rd., east to Northway Ave. for 10 days this month.

Parkway project spokesperson Cindy Prince says drivers will notice plenty of signage in the area between April 17 and 27. "We'll be doing pavement markings, putting curbs in and doing some general pavement work in that area. We're also taking the opportunity, while that road is closed, to put the pedestrian bridge over top of Cabana alongside HWY. 3."

Prince says crews are gearing up for full-time construction again in hopes of having the parkway completed by the end of August or September.

She adds that a wet summer and cold winter have set the project back slightly, but it's still projected to finish on time.
