Photo Of Robbery Suspect Released

Police in Windsor have released a picture of a suspect following an armed robbery at a Windsor 7-Eleven convenience store.

The suspect walked into the store in the 900-block of Ottawa St. around 3am last Saturday carrying a large knife. He demanded cash from the clerk and left with a small amount of money and some cartons of cigarettes.

Police describe the suspect as:

- a white man between 25 and 30 years old with blue eyes and brown eyebrows.

- about 5'10" tall and 165 lbs.

- wearing blue jeans with a design on the back pockets, black running shoes, white socks, a grey and black jacket with a white logo on the left chest and a red stripe on the right chest.

- also wearing a black baseball hat, a black scarf over his face and a hood over his head.

He may have been driving a red or burgundy pickup truck.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
