Wiring Blamed In Windsor Fire

Investigators with Windsor Fire and Rescue Services blame faulty electrical wiring for a house fire at 3115 Virginia Park Ave.

The fire on Friday, April 3 started in the basement and caused $150,000 damage.

While there were no injuries, five residents were displaced.

Fire officials say they've charged the owner for not having working smoke alarms.  The fine is $360.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
