Windsor police officers were called to Wyandotte St. W at Indian Rd. at around 1pm. Police say the suspect fled on foot, but was quickly apprehended.
The victim's injuries appear to be minor, police say, and they were not taken to hospital.
Police also say the suspect and victim appeared to know each other.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
