UPDATE: Child Burned In Fire

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services says a 5-year-old girl is in hospital after her clothes caught fire when she was playing with a lighter.

Firefighters were called to a townhouse at 2619 Lauzon Rd. Thursday afternoon.

In a tweet, Windsor fire officials say the girl suffered burns on 33% of her body.

Windsor Regional Hospital spokesman Steve Erwin confirms the girl is in serious but stable condition.  She's being transferred to hospital in London.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
