E-Bike Riders Arrested With Drugs

Two Windsor residents face charges after police stopped a couple of e-bikes and found some crystal methamphetamine.

Officers in the Windsor Police Drugs and Guns Unit were following up a tip about a man and woman allegedly selling drugs from a home in the 1700-block of Highland Ave. when they spotted the suspects leaving the house. With the assistance of the Emergency Services Unit, they arrested the pair a short time later.

A search of the female suspect turned up 7.3g of crystal methamphetamine and some cash.

Police got a warrant to search the home but didn't find any drugs there.

A 32-year-old woman faces a charge of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, and a 47-year-old man is charged with breach of recognizance.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
