UDPATE: Assault Sends One To Hospital

Police are looking for a suspect after an assault sent one person to hospital in Windsor.

The Windsor Police Service is not releasing much information at this time, but police say the assault occurred on Friday around 8pm, in the 1500-block of Pierre Ave.

A male victim has been taken to hospital to be treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries. Officials say he is not cooperating with police. The victim was still in hospital Saturday evening.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and officers are looking for a person of interest.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
